Here is a view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca from atop the bluff just to the west of the Dungeness Spit. The waves break on the beach far below. A ship, inbound in the shipping lane, is probably headed for Seattle or Tacoma.
The spectrum of colors from the sky to the shore, and the texture from smooth sky and surf to the rough trees and beach are wonderful from that elevated perspective.
