Kinzie is another century-old coastal artillery battery at Fort Worden, near Port Townsend. Unlike some of the batteries I have featured before, which sit atop Artillery Hill, this one is down near the beach, close to the Point Wilson light.
Love this perspective, the history, the building seems to be speaking, "why thanks for noticing me, come on in and visit, its been a while between guests".

What an angle. It feels just slightly off and really fits the subject.
One can almost see uniformed men with binoculars in the shadows....
