morning in the square

Not every picture that looks good on the screen will make a good print.  This image is one of those.  Taken with a pocket camera, it is just too soft to look good blown up.  It's too bad, because I really like the composition.  I may have to do a painting of it...

@Lindy- I'm glad you like them. The header is Ruby Beach, of course, on the usual misty day, mixed with a little sun.

I love this photo- in particular the way the light stretches all the way across the square to highlight the nearby group of men deep in conversation. The mens' stances are so expressive; I can almost hear the conversation.

It's almost Rachel Berman-ish. No wonder you're inspired to paint it!

I think I'll try to paint it small so I can't put in too much detail.
