In the San Francisco Bay area, the hills are green in the winter, while the trees are bare. In the summer, it will be more or less reversed: green trees, straw-colored hills. The grasses in the bottom left of this photo give a hint of things to come.

I love the movement in this composition. And the feeling of space.
I have good memories of Mt. Diablo from the mid-70s. I wish they were green like this, instead of brown and golden.
