boats at cefalu, sicily

This is another of my digital images which I had previously printed in color.  Re-cropped and readjusted, I think it has more impact as a black and white photo.

The buildings and the boats nicely echo the wedge of the bay. Some photos are just made for b & w!

Thanks. I'm finding that if an image works well in black and white, I often prefer it to the color version. In others, especially those without too much color, sometimes a little bit of color is key to the composition. It all depends on the image, but it is fun to go back through earlier photos and reconsider how best to present them.

I can see how that would be.... especially when the photographer's veiwpoint changes over time.
