lightship "overfalls"

This is the decommissioned lightship which I mentioned in my last post, photographed during my mid-nineties visit to Lewes, Delaware.  The ship had a lot of character as a photographic subject, but she was rusting away.  She has since been completely restored and turned into a proper museum.

Overfalls may be more spruced up now, but she had a lot of personality in your photograph, too!

She definitely had a presence, with her mud-splattered bright red hull. And the slight starboard list and angle of the shot help show off her fair lines.
