This is one of a series I did of closeups of the rocks at Myra Falls, at the south end of Buttle Lake in Strathcona Provincial Park on Vancouver Island, B.C. The series was done a few years ago but they have been in a number of shows and I wanted to get them on this blog.

This one is really amazing. Do I see a face in the green stone?
Thanks, Elsbeth. It could be a face. I would not be surprised- there was so much detail in those rocks. If held upside down, the depression in the green part (which is actually underwater in a shallow pool) reminds me of an olympic torch. This way around, the whole image could be a house perched on a bluff near the sea.
Yes, I see both the torch and the house... I can imagine a cropped version of just the upper half being mistaken for a painting of that very same blufftop house. I'd love to be able to paint like that!
